TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please note that all prices shown at Pav's Cake Design website are to be used as a starting guide only. Cakes will be quoted individually depending on what is required.
A 50% deposit for all cake orders is usually requested upon booking, which is non-returnable. I can accept cash, cheque or online bank transfer. The balance must be paid in cash upon collection of the finished cake, or, if you wish to pay the balance online, this must be done prior to collection. For wedding cakes or large orders, the balance must be paid 7 days prior to the collection date (or delivery date if delivery has been arranged).
Please note that some tiered cake designs require assembly at the venue as they cannot be transported as a whole cake. Should this apply to your chosen cake design, then there will be a charge for my time and travelling.
Cakes should be transported in a flat position, preferably in the boot of a car. It is not recommended that they are transported on a car seat.
Decorative ribbons around cakes and cake boards may differ slightly depending on availability.
I always ensure that my cakes, together with the decorations, are as secure as can be, ready for transportation. Once a cake has been received I cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur.
A variety of un-iced/undecorated cakes are also available and prices can be given upon request.
In the event of a cancellation, work already completed towards your order may be chargeable.
Every effort will be made to accommodate changes to original orders, but this cannot be guaranteed.
I will always try my best to accommodate cake orders at short notice. However, I am often booked up so I would advise you to provide me with at least 2-3 weeks. It is never too early to book your cake!
My cakes should be stored in the fridge, and taken out and left in room temp for at least 45 minutes at room temperature away from direct sunlight, before eating. Sponge cakes and entremets are at their best when eaten within 2-3 days. Cupcakes are best eaten within 2 days.
For wedding cakes, individual quotations will be provided once your full requirements have been discussed. A consultation can be arranged where we can discuss ideas and designs.
Wedding cakes usually take much longer to make than a celebration cake. For example, the many hours spent making decorations with fine details and also the time spent stacking and levelling the cakes. Many modern wedding cakes are much taller than a standard cake too, so require multiple layers of cake. Some cakes, due to their design and size need to be delivered and then assembled at the venue by myself. All these factors need to be considered before a final price can be provided.

Pav's Cake Design is NOT an allergy-free kitchen. We cannot guarantee that our products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies. At Pav's Cake Design we recognise the seriousness of food allergies and we recommend that you contact us before you place an order to inform us of any food allergies that you or your party may have, we reserve the right to decline any orders for clients with serious food allergies. Pav's Cake Design will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to our products.
